In mid-2020, amid the pandemic, the ongoing project underwent significant alterations, adapting to new seating arrangements and safety measures. With remote work on the rise, the focus shifted to the FM studio's (8000 sft) swift setup. Collaborated with acoustic engineers, material specialist, and colleague Ar. Shafi. The project was completed over a rigorous month and a half.

Responsibilities: Site Inspection, Selection, 3D- Modeling, Rendering, Collaboration with procurement, Design and correction, and vendor selection.

Status: Built
JATRA is a business model of meticulous planning and dedication. From location selection to understanding the target customer and feeling of comfort, the approach emphasized efficient resource management through modular bulk production. The flagship model, featuring thirty rooms in five districts of Bangladesh, served as the initial prototype for a supply chain system that takes less time, produces less waste, and saves resources. The accomplishment within a six-month timeline reflects the strong collaboration with the JATRA Business Team, including Mr. Monjur, Mr. Ajeyo, Ms. Kimty, Mr. Chopol, Mr. Sakimul, Ms. Labonno, and the dedicated construction team.

This was a fun project, working with a friend and his dad to design their family home. All those iterations, conflicts with preferences, and finally agreeing to a middle point were part of every design meeting. I'm happy to have been a part of the journey of transforming a house into a home.
